We selected the iconography of a flaming torch encircled by a rapid of water. It acts as a symbolic representation of the fire of passion that drives Singapore Aquatics’ athletes, and their aspirations to achieve excellence on global water sports stages. The symbol is a literal metaphor that embodies the spirit of “carrying a torch” – a reference to how the champions of today will light the way for future generations.

Seven geometrical elements are used to define the logo, separated by negative space for a clean, modern and elegant appearance. They represent the core of Singapore Aquatics’ ethos: its seven principles, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to its values. Soft curves and ample use of diagonals and angled elements create the effect of motion and fluidity, reinforcing Singapore Aquatics’ emphasis on dynamism and progress.
